Got Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to build and ship my arrows?
Custom builds typically take 5–7 business days to fully build and ship by our technicians. Shipping time is in addition to this build window. During pre-season, build times may be slightly extended — allow up to 2 weeks during that window. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your arrows ship.
How do I choose the right arrow spine?
Spine is determined by your bow's draw weight, your arrow length, and the point weight you plan to run. A general rule: higher draw weight or heavier points require a stiffer spine (lower number = stiffer). Our 3D builder displays the correct spine range for most setups, but if you're unsure, email us at contact@m.arrowops.iowith your draw weight, draw length, and intended tip weight and we'll point you in the right direction.
What if I order the wrong spine?
Because custom arrows are built to your specifications, we cannot accept returns on a spine selection error. However, if you're unsure before you order, reach out first — we'd rather help you get it right the first time. If your arrows arrive and the spine is clearly different from what you specified in your order receipt, contact us within 7 days and we will make it right.
How do you measure arrow length?
We measure Carbon-to-Carbon (CTC). This means the measurement is strictly the carbon shaft itself, not including the nock, insert, or tip. If you order a 28.5″ arrow, the carbon tube will be exactly 28.5″ long.
Are my arrows squared before assembly?
Yes. Every arrow we build is cut on a high-speed saw and then squared on both the front and rear ends to ensure perfect alignment for your inserts and nocks. This is a standard part of our build process — not an add-on.
What shaft brands do you carry?
Our current inventory includes shafts from Victory Archery. We are continually expanding our catalog with additional manufacturers. If you have a specific shaft you're looking for, reach out and we'll let you know if it's coming or suggest the closest equivalent we carry.
What tip weight should I choose?
Tip weight directly affects your FOC (Front of Center) — and FOC directly affects penetration and flight. Most hunting setups run 100–125 grain field points matched to a similarly weighted broadhead. Heavier points (150+ grain) push FOC higher, which many hunters prefer for maximum penetration. Use our free FOC Calculator to dial in the exact number before you order.
Are the arrows broadhead-ready?
Yes. Inserts are glued in and squared, so your broadheads will thread directly onto the installed inserts. We always recommend giving your broadheads a spin test on the bow before hunting to check for any wobble caused by broadhead blade tolerances — that's not an arrow issue, it's a broadhead manufacturing tolerance issue and is normal for even premium heads.
Do you install lighted nocks?
We build with standard nocks by default. Lighted nocks require a press-fit or half-moon groove match to your specific nock groove, and battery life varies by brand. If you plan to run lighted nocks, we recommend ordering standard nocks installed and pressing your lighted nocks in yourself — it takes 10 seconds and ensures you get the exact brand you prefer.
Do you glue the inserts in?
Yes, we glue the inserts in. All arrows come fully assembled and ready to shoot out of the box. Please note: for tall archers with long arrows, the nocks may not be installed out of the box to ensure they fit safely during shipping — you may need to press your own nocks in.
What consistency can I expect across my dozen?
Each arrow is spine-selected and assembled to the same spec. You can expect tight group-to-group consistency across a matched dozen. If you experience outliers on the range, check your nock fit and broadhead spin before assuming an arrow issue — both are common culprits in group inconsistency that have nothing to do with the build.
Do you ship to Canada or internationally?
Currently, we ship within the continental United States only. International shipping, including Canada, is not available at this time. We're working on expanding — check back or reach out to contact@m.arrowops.io to be notified when international shipping becomes available.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported at checkout where available.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Because our shop moves quickly to start your custom build, we cannot guarantee changes after an order is placed. If you notice a mistake immediately after checking out, please email contact@m.arrowops.io right away and we will do our best to intercept it before the carbon is cut.
